You don't have to know exactly what's wrong. You just have to know that something is.
Online Therapy for Relationship Patterns, Phobias, Anxiety & Self-Sabotage
Ireland, UK & Worldwide
Most people who come to this work don't arrive with a clear diagnosis or a neat description of what's wrong.
They arrive exhausted. Or stuck. Or quietly aware that the same thing keeps happening regardless of how much they try to change it. They might not have the language for it yet. They just know that something isn't working and that understanding it on their own hasn't been enough to shift it.
That is exactly the right place to start.
The work I do goes deeper than talking about what is happening. It works directly with the patterns themselves — the automatic responses, beliefs and ways of relating that sit below conscious thought and quietly shape everything.
Whatever is bringing you here, there is likely a way forward.
What brings people to this work
People come for many different reasons. These are some of the most common:
Exhaustion and emotional overwhelm in relationships Feeling like you are carrying more than your share, emotionally, practically, or both. Not knowing why you feel so tired, so resentful, or so lost inside a relationship that looked fine from the outside. Feeling responsible for everything and everyone, and unable to stop.
Phobias and performance anxiety A specific fear that limits what you can do, flying, needles, social situations, heights. Or overwhelming anxiety before a presentation, interview, exam, driving test or performance. These are targeted, identifiable responses that respond well to focused work.
Self-sabotage and procrastination Getting in your own way at a certain point, in work, relationships or personal goals. Starting things and not finishing them. Avoiding what matters. Knowing what you want and still not moving toward it.
Recurring relationship patterns Finding yourself in the same dynamic repeatedly, regardless of the person. Choosing people who need you. Losing yourself in relationships. Over functioning while the other person under functions. Recognising the pattern but not being able to change it.
Anxiety and overthinking A mind that won't switch off. Worrying even when things are technically fine. Difficulty making decisions. Feeling tense and unable to fully relax even in safe situations.
Feeling stuck and not knowing why No clear crisis, no obvious reason, just a persistent sense that something isn't moving, that life isn't quite what it should be, that there is something underneath that needs to shift before anything else can change.

Standard individual therapy sessions last 50 minutes. Because my approach focuses on practical tools to deal with anxiety and change patterns like overthinking and people-pleasing, many clients notice a positive change within a few sessions. We will work at a pace that feels completely comfortable and effective for you.

My private therapy room is located at my home in Crossmaglen, just a 1-minute drive from the town centre. It is situated within a traditional row of street-facing terraced houses. While locals park along the street, there is always plenty of free street parking available just an easy 20 to 40 metres away. This short walk gives you a calm few moments to breathe and transition before we begin your session.
-
Your first session is entirely about making you feel safe and comfortable. We will chat gently about what is going on for you right now, whether that is constant worrying, stress, or feeling stuck in your head. There is no pressure to share everything at once; we will simply map out what you want to change so you leave with a clear sense of hope.

Online sessions are just as effective as face-to-face therapy and are perfect if you want to save on travel time from Newry or Forkhill. I will send you a secure, private video link before our appointment. All you need is a quiet, confidential space where you won't be interrupted, a phone or laptop, and a reliable internet connection. Sessions via Zoom, Whatsapp video or another platform if you prefer.

To get the best results and build steady momentum, we typically meet once a week at the same scheduled time. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice so that I can offer that time slot to another client who might be waiting for support.
