How we can work together
No two people arrive with the same experiences, so I don't believe in following exactly the same process with everyone. Some people need space to untangle what's been happening in their lives. Others are ready for a more active approach from the beginning. Most people benefit from a combination of both.
My role isn't to fit you into a particular model of therapy, it's to understand you.

About Geraldine
Over the years I've learned that people don't come to therapy because they're failing, or doing something wrong, or not doing enough. They come because they've been trying to solve the wrong problem.
Once they begin to understand why they've been feeling, thinking and reacting the way they have, something changes.
They stop blaming themselves, things begin to make sense, and from that place, change becomes much easier.
I won't tell you how to live your life or make decisions for you, my role is to help you understand yourself so clearly that the decisions come naturally. I believe lasting change comes from seeing yourself more truthfully, not from someone else telling you who you should be.
