Let’s talk about how you can reduce your everyday stress, anxiety, fear, or perhaps you suffer from generalised anxiety disorder (GAD). We almost take it for granted that we always feels some level of stress or anxiety, it’s seen as normal. Bit it’s not normal to ALWAYS feels anxiety, fear, stress. So how can you proceed to not have these feelings?

What Are Stress, Anxiety And Fear?

We see stress and anxiety as the consequence of living in this modern world, and some of them are. However I am seeing more and more clients with overwhelming anxiety and fear of the future. Many feel that their outside world is getting more and more out of their control and they can no longer cope with life.

We may not be able to control events that happen outside of us but we have full control over how we react to these events. NLP helps you to reframe the pressures that you feel so that your mind and body can cope with them, see the possible solutions and find a way to move forward. Fear and anxiety don’t have to be overpowering, NLP is very effective in giving you the power to control them and to cope with anything that life might throw at you.

How NLP Can Help You Overcome Anxiety And Fear

Unlike a lot of other anxiety therapies, NLP doesn’t focus on alleviating symptoms. Rather it delves into how your mind structures your thoughts, which create your feelings and then produce an outcome. Change your thoughts and you change the outcome. And it can be as simple as that.

NLP recognises that each person has a unique set of filters through which they perceive the world. These filters are shaped by your personal experiences, memories and the environment in which you live. I tailer each NLP therapy session to suit your particular filters and thoughts processes.

I don’t focus on the story behind the thoughts. It is the thought process that is important, not the story and this is why NLP can resolve anxiety so quickly.

I aim to shift your thought process from seeing you as a victim of circumstances to being a manager of them, by leading you through a series of subconscious mental steps, which lead to your emotional responses.

Anxiety and fear is a learned response and this response can be unlearned and replaced with a more healthy outcome.

NLP for anxiety and fear is a flexible therapy and can be easily combined with other therapies for a better outcome. I often add in elements from body mind somatics, Chinese medicine and spiritual practice to enhance the effectiveness of the main therapy.
